| WEEZER - THE CHRISTMAS SONG
You told me you would be here by my side Warming my heart on this cold winter's night Here I sit waiting beside the tree all by myself
You told me you would move heaven and earth Cheering my spirits with laughter and mirth Here I sit waiting beside the tree all by myself
Oh, could you ever know how much I care? Could you ever know that out somewhere There's a boy who really hurts?
Since I found you I found a girl I found a thorn I found a queen Now I am warm
Oh, could you ever know how much I care? Could you ever know that out somewhere There's a boy who really hurts?
Since I found you I found a girl I found a thorn I found a queen Now I am warm
You told me you would move heaven and earth Cheering my spirits with laughter and mirth Here I sit waiting beside the tree all by myself

| All The Ducks Are Swimming In The Water. fal-de-ral-de-ral-da. fal-de-ral-de-ral-da.It has been along time since I wrote in my xanga. The last time I wrote an actual entry longer than 2 words or a song lyrics or a quote or a sad face or a link to a website was November 23rd. And do you know what today is? It is December 23rd (kinda - its still the night of the 22nd if you think about it, but when I post this it will say December 23rd so I guess that still counts). That is exactly one month. Many things have happened in that month. But it would be all too much to explain and I'm not really sure I want to think that much. So I will start with today. I woke up this morning (I'm not sure what time it was?) and got up (duh! why did I even say that?) and walked up stairs. It was around that time that I remembered I was going to pizza hut at 10. So I decided to hop in the shower (not literally) but someone was in the bathroom or something, I dont know, but I didn't take a shower then. So I noticed my mom was baking something. Then I did get in the shower. And took a shower. Then I got out of the shower and went to my room and put on some clothes. Then I think I fell back asleep. But I left at a little after 11 to go to Pizza Hut. So yeah, I went to Pizza Hut. There's not much else to say than that. It wasn't that memorable but what is memorable these days? So I drove Jimmy home, then I went to the mall to do some last-minute Christmas shopping. I came home and rapped. No I'm just kidding. I wrapped - as in wrap presents. Yeah. and then I don't know I got bored and downloaded a bunch of music and cleaned my room. So yeah. Then people started arriving at my house And I was greeted by my dog who was quite excited about the people and ran around in little circles on my freshly-made bed. Well soon after that Jimmy arrived and we went about our plan of being anti-social. As we saw certain people arrive, we ushered them through a side entrance into my room. By the end of the night we had quite a gathering. Then we sang some redemption songs, but that is another story for another day. Well after a large portion of everybody left, Tim, Jimmy, and I went on one of our trademark late-night freezing-weather walks. Anyway, around this time a dog started growling at us and following us and being very threatening. Well, after a couple minutes of Tim's advice ("don't turn your back on it"), we took off running. Relax, we all made it safely back home, where we talked to Carly who was there to pick up her sister. At 11, Tim decided to leave. So then after a few more minutes everybody else left also. I also had to take Jimmy home, so I went outside to my car, but forgot my new Anti-Freeze stuff. So I just tried to scrape but it didn't work out too well, But oh well I can make it from my house to Jimmy's without being able to see out my front windshield very well. So after that I drove back home, came inside and sat at my computer and thought "you know what, it has been a long time since I wrote in my xanga. So I decided to write. And I wrote for a long time. Actually, I am still writing right now. I summarized my entire day really, leaving out some menial details that would be boring for you readers to think about, much less read on a computer screen. Well, I guess I have written enough for today. Maybe I will decide to write on here more often, I don't know. But for now, this is enough.
Goodnight.
EDIT: I was looking through my xanga entries from the past couple of months, and the last xanga entry that was of any comparable length to this one was on October 23rd, exactly 2 months ago. Isn't that strange. Is there some bodily function activated on the 23rd of each month that makes me want to write in my xanga? More on this later. | | |
| Old pirates, yes, they rob I; Sold I to the merchant ships, Minutes after they took I From the bottomless pit. But my hand was made strong By the hand of the Almighty. We forward in this generation Triumphantly.
Won't you help to sing These songs of freedom? 'Cause all I ever have: Redemption songs; Redemption songs.
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds. Have no fear for atomic energy, 'Cause none of them can stop the time. How long shall they kill our prophets, While we stand aside and look? Some say it's just a part of it: We've got to fullfil the book.
